Educational Scholarships

Our enrichment opportunities are something you'll want to set your sights on! We offer a variety of Educational Scholarship Programs available to all qualifying Open, Adult Amateur, Junior, and Therapeutic/Exceptional Riders.

NVWDA Ride & Learn Education Fund (5 annually)

$250 financial assistance provided to (1) Open, (1) AA, (1) Junior, (1) Adult Thera/Except, and (1) Junior Thera/Except members for use toward educational and professional development activities such as lessons and clinics awarded annually.

NVWDA Judging Journey Scholarship (1 annually)

A $1,000 financial assistance scholarship presented once per year to (1) Open, AA, or Adult Thera/Except member in good standing to support pursuits of a small “r” or large “R” judging credential.

NVWDA Pathway to World Show Scholarship (1 annually)

A $1,000 once-per-year financial Grant for use toward attending and competing at the WDDA World Show. Available to (1) Open, AA, Junior, Adult Thera/Except, Junior Thera/Except member in good standing who has met all program qualifications.

Shows, Clinics, and Fellowship Events Throughout the Year to Enhance Your Skills...

NVWDA's 2026 Recognized Live Show High Point Award Program will include a minimum of five multi-day shows to participate in at Horseman's Park, Las Vegas, NV. These multi-day shows offer on-site overnight/stabling, RV hookups, and ample trailer parking. All NVWDA-Recognized shows will be WDAA-Rated, and judged by either small "r" or large "R" judges. (NEW IN 2026) NVWDA Members will receive generous Member Discounts at local participating hotels, just moments away from Horseman's Park showgrounds.

2026 Scenic Saddle Virtual Show Series Kicks-off January 9th.

NVWDA's Scenic Saddle Virtual Show Series will offer riders the opportunity to compete in seven total shows in 2026. All shows are WDAA Recognized show qualifiers for elgibility to compete at the WDAA World Show. All shows will be judged by large "R" judges. High Point WInners in each of five recognized Divisions will win a $50, $75, $100, or $125 gift card from Tractor Supply, Chewy.com or Amazon.com. The more rides per show, the higher the High Point Gift Card Value awarded.
